Thumbs up ISB Interview Tips

If you have cleared the written test and have got a call for interview, Congratulations! One more hurdle clear! This is the last but an extremely important step – this one will make or break it for you eventually. You will not get a second chance to make a first impression.

Some quick reminders - Reach the interview venue early. If you reach on the dot, you are late! Allow your nerves to calm down; Keep your mobile switched off. In case you forget and it rings, apologize and immediately turn it off without even looking who is calling.

An ISB interview generally consists of two or three interviewers with at least one person from the admission committee. The other panelist(s) could be alumnus or existing students of ISB. Apart from doing your homework on the institute, your study area, general knowledge, brush up on you essays, resume etc. be prepared for “Why ISB” and “Why you” questions – two of the most common questions that the interviewers seek answer to.

The best way to prepare for an interview is to practice, practice and more practice. Mock interviews help a lot to streamline your answers and help provide clarity of thought and confidence.
