The University of Delhi holds a Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) for admission to First Semester of BE Courses in Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology.

Bawana Road , Delhi 110042 (Affiliated to University of Delhi ) offers 4-year BE courses in Computer Engineering (60 seats) and Information Technology (51 seats).

Netaji subhas institute of technology :
Sector 3, Dwarka (Pappankalan), New Delhi 110045 (Formerly Delhi Institute of Technology) offers Computer Engineering (100 seats) and Information Technology (51 seats).

Eligibility : Minimum age: 17 years as on or before 1st October of the year of admission. Candidates having Indian nationality should have passed Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by CBSE or any other exam recognised as equivalent theretosecuring 60% or more marks in the aggregate of PCM (50% or more marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category, 55% or more marks for Candidates belonging to CW (Defence)/ Physically Handicapped Category). Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.

Relaxation of marks for reserved categories: Concession in the minimum eligibility requirements is given to the (a) SC/ST candidates: 10 per cent., (b) Defence quota (Under Delhi region only): The children and/or widows of personnel of Armed/Para-Military forces killed/disabled in action during hostilities who apply for seats reserved for them are allowed relaxation of 5 per cent marks in the minimum eligibility requirements.

The basis for determining the eligibility of an applicant to a seat reserved for any region is the location of the school/college from which the candidate has passed die qualifying examination on the basis of which he/she gets admission- (ii) Except for the nominees of Govt. of India, the admission is open to Indian nationals only.

Reservation-Scheduled Caste candidates : 15% of the total seats in each Institution. Scheduled Tribes: 7.5% of the total seats in each Institution. Defence Quota (Under Delhi Region only): 5% of the total seats under

Delhi region only in each course are reserved for the children/widows of Personnel of.Armed/Para Mililary
Forces killed/disabled in action during the hostilities in the priorities defined in the prospectus. Also, 3% seats are reserved for physically handicapped candidates.

The medium of exam is English and the syllabi in Chemistry, Physics and Maths, is based on the standard of Sr. Sec. School Certificate exam, conducted by CBSE. It comprises of objective type questions. Each question has multiple (four) choices.
